Rejection
A situation where someone may feel repeatedly rejected by others is when they are either on a team or working on a group project with other peers. Maybe the people that person has to work with are always frowning on their ideas or constantly nagging at them. To the group or team it may just be constructive criticism and tough love but sometimes, it hurts more than it helps. I know how it feels to be on a team where they do not always except you. I was the youngest girl on my volleyball team, the freshman, and the odd one out. I felt rejected and even though that might not have been the case, that is still how I felt. From the day I made the team and on I was a quiet person that never felt accepted. It hurts a lot and can really wear you down. I did not shine as much as I used to and dreaded practice. I know from experience that it can truly hurt who you are on the inside to feel rejected.
